Former eNCA Meteorologist, Derek van Dam, Makes CNN Debut

Former head of eNCA's weather department, Drek van Dam, made his long awaited debut on CNNi, DStv 401, this past Sunday, September 14th.

He made his debut during the 7pm (South African time) hour of iDesk, which was hosted by veteran CNN anchor Ralitsa Vassileva. Early reviews of van Dam are positive, describing him as relaxed and well presented.

Along with a new network, he also gets a new Twitter handle in line with that of the rest of CNN's personalities: @vanDamCNN
