CNBC Africa Original Content Comes to Mindset Learn, allowing CNBC Africa shows to be seen for the first time on Openview HD, Starsat and Freevision

Mindset Learn has silently started adding reruns of CNBC Africa programming daily from 19:30 to 20:30, repeated at 23:30

No announcement of the additions has been made from either channel on this deal, and whether Mindest would be paying for the content considering that they are a non profit organisation.

The deal now gives viewers on all of DStv's competitors access to local business shows, something non of them had access to before. The Mindset Learn channel, of course, is the only channel broadcast on all local satellite platforms, pay and free-to-air, and on all packages. This comes as a relief to the likes of StarSat and OpenviewHD who are often under fire from consumers for not showing any local news content.

However, at this stage it is not known exactly how old the content shown Mindset Learn would be.

One also has to question why this move was made as the core audiences of the two channels, Mindset being school learners and teachers while CNBC's being business people and consumers of news, are vastly different and one cannot see any benefits for the channels, other than maybe a bit of exposure for CNBC and two hours of content on Mindset Learn now no longer needing to be programmed by them. One can argue that iit is two hours of educational, schooling content being lost everyday.

At the moment the schedule looks as follows:
Monday
 19:30-Captains of Industry
 20:00-15 Minutes with Longevity
Tuesday
 19:30- The Entrepreneurial Edge
 20:00-Top Trader
Wednesday
 19:30-On the Couch
 20:00-Mansfield Money Sense
Thursday
 19:30-Sport Talk
 20:00-Techno Busters
Friday
 19:30-Your Money Matters
 20:00-Tech at Work
